In September of 2018 Dr. Colby had the privilege of collecting donations from different dental offices in Hawaii and dental rep companies like Patterson, Henry Schein, Colgate, and Proctor and Gamble and delivering these donations to an Orphanage in HoChiMinh, Vietnam. Most of these orphans had some type of physical or mental disability however there was a feeling of love, kindness and appreciation when we gave them these donations. At this service event we were also able to discuss the importance of proper oral hygiene to the children and their caretakers. Donations included toothbrushes, tooth paste, dental floss, and some snacks provided by the Pham family. I want to thank all those that helped make this service activity in Vietnam possible. I hope to do many more of these type of missions in the future.
